Guided Hikes

Join me for 2-2.5 hour hikes through the beautiful Elk Neck State Park beginning October 2016.

What you can expect:

  • To burn an average of 1130+/- Calories
  • Walk an average of 11,000+/- Steps (great for fellow FitBit fans like me)
  • To get your heart rate into that fat burning mode
  • Low impact hill climbs through the woods and along the North East River
  • To bring with you a small backpack filled with a water (I recommend 2 bottles), camera or phone, toilet paper, bug spray, sunscreen, a few light snacks, and a pocket knife (optional,) sunglasses and or a hat, and sturdy shoes for hiking.

Taking Care of You!

Making time to care for yourself is very important despite how busy we think we are, it is NOT being selfish. Whether it be in a job setting or a family setting you most likely care for many other people in your life, people that count on you, people that need you in so many different ways. That being said, you have to make the time to fit in some “you time,” whether it is massage therapy, meditation, exercise, or a long walk to clear your mind. You need to come first , because if your or your health is lacking you certainly aren’t in any shape to care for all of those other people. Start making time for you today, we are happy to get you started or challenge you, no matter if you are a seasoned athlete or have never tried any real forms of exercise, we will guide you and be with you every step of the way.
